Create Family-friendly Working Environment to Enhance Work Efficiency and Retain Talents
Introduction
The recent wave of emigration in Hong Kong is leading to talent loss in different sectors, and social service sector is of no exception. Competing for talents is even one of the key highlights in the latest Policy Address. Building a friendly working environment can not only enhance work efficiency but also help retain talents.
We have invited Equal Opportunities Commission to hold the seminar on Family Status Discrimination Ordinance in order to enhance participants’ understanding of the main concepts of the Ordinance, and to share how NGOs could incorporate good practices of anti-discrimination into daily operations so as to build a family status friendly working environment. The seminar will also cover the topic of breastfeeding which has been receiving increasing attention in recent years.
