This 4-day course is designed for social workers, counselors, managerial staff, and people who are interested in a more practical and foundational training in emotions and ways of responding to emotions.

Day 1 pm: Mindfulness: The Practice of Cultivating Compassion for your feelings I

Day 2 am:  Sadness: Specific strategies for responding to sadness

Day 2 pm: Anger: Specific strategies for responding to anger

Day 3 am: Fear & Anxiety: Specific strategies for responding to fear & anxiety

Day 3 pm: Shame: Specific strategies for responding to shame

Day 4 am: Understanding your Affect Regulation Style

Day 4 pm: Mindfulness: The Practice of Cultivating Compassion for your feelings II

Ms Natalie Tong is an experienced trainer who has conducted over 100 training workshops/seminars. She is a Registered Psychologist who has worked extensively with adults suffering from various kinds of psychiatric disorders and has trained social workers, nurses, and other health professionals in working with this population. She provides psychotherapy, supervision, and training in her private practice. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the United States and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She received her training in clinical psychology and is an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and an Associate Member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS). She is also an Approved Supervisor with the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA).
