Introduction
The
way we deal with our feelings has a direct impact on how we view ourselves and
the way we engage with others. This
course provides an in-depth understanding on four emotion regulation styles and
their manifestations in the counselling process. Therapists equipped with the understanding of
these four emotion regulation styles can swiftly enter into the inner world of
the clients. This course aims to equip participants to understand the four emotion regulation styles and its
applications in counselling.

Ms. Tong , Natalie 唐靜思女士
Registered Psychologist
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Ms Natalie Tong is an experienced trainer who has conducted over 100 training workshops/seminars. She is a Registered Psychologist who has worked extensively with adults suffering from various kinds of psychiatric disorders and has trained social workers, nurses, and other health professionals in working with this population. She provides psychotherapy, supervision, and training in her private practice. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the United States and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She received her training in clinical psychology and is an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and an Associate Member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS). She is also an Approved Supervisor with the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA).
