Introduction

The most common use of meetings is to bring people together to disseminate information, and better still if the meetings are properly conducted, the participants will surprisingly perform well in problem-solving, decision-making and planning. Effective meetings should achieve a superior quality of thinking and understanding by bringing together different minds in a variety of perspectives, which eventually yields coherent analyses, solutions, decision or plans.

    Kathy is an experienced public affairs consultant and trainer who has wide contacts with various professions, trades, public bodies and Government authorities, as well as in the media and political circles. She has organised training programmes for more than 10,000 senior executives and government officials from both private and public sectors over the years.

    Ever since 2003 to now, Kathy has rendered one-to-one communication coaching for senior executives of private and public organisations, for instance, those of Hospital Authority (in the wake of and after the SARS disaster), incumbent members of Executive Council, Legislative Council and District Council. The one-to-one coaching was well received by clients, being regarded as “highly customised and extremely practical”.
