Objective

  • To understand DISC's application on team building and communication
  • To experience how different personality styles filter our perspectives in calibrating people’s behaviours
  • To learn and practise the "matching and leading” approaches when collaborating people with different DISC personality styles

  • Application of DISC to team communication to build trust and resolve conflicts within the team
  • Calibration techniques on identifying different DISC personality styles by experiential learning games
  • Use of matching & leading approaches in collaborating people with the DISC Personality System framework, with practices and feedback
  • Remarks
    - Participants must have completed DISC self-profiling before taking this course.

    Mr Yeung has been serving in the field of children and youth service for 20 years. He is currently responsible for service innovation, talents and capacity building at The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong.
    Bono is a certified DISC behavioural consultant of the Institute for Motivational Living and certified practitioner of Workplace Big Five Profile of the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies (CentACS), USA. And he has years of solid experience in applying NLP, Theatre of the Oppressed and the use of art for empowerment in social work.

    The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong
    Registered Social Worker, experienced youth worker and trainer for social workers and teachers on facilitation skills of discussion, debriefing and reflection, using both experiential activities and mobile apps.
