Practical
This is a practitioners’ course with workshops, luncheons and case studies to ensure practical learning.

Interfacing with different sectors for networking
The networks established during the programme will be invaluable for participants in their long-term career development. In addition to distinguished trainers from consulting firms or respective professional organizations, guest speakers from corporations and professional bodies are also invited to share their insights with participants. This enriches participants’ network with different sectors.

Peer learning circle
Apart from trainings delivered by respected trainers, the experienced participants will also be invited to lead sharing in different workshop with assigned topic regarding management issues of the organisation.

Peer learning sessions (7 sessions)
Five participants as a group to present an incident of the organisation and to lead discussions and invite comments and insights from peers regarding different training topics.

Objective

The programme aims to offer a rewarding learning experience for potential executives in Caritas that will help participants to :

1. broaden strategic horizons through interaction with distinguished trainers, guest speakers and peers from different units of Caritas;
2. learn powerful strategies and skills for leading change, crisis management, effective communication; and
3. understand their own strengths and weaknesses, and develop plan for continued learning and professional growth.

Programme Structure
The programme is designed with five modules of skills that perceived to be the necessary skills and attributes a NGO executive has to be possessed in order to influence others towards the achievement of goals.
1. the five modules would be run over 4 months, one day per week so that it will be easier for the organisation to release manpower for the training
2. Each module will be delivered by workshops and/or luncheon. Apart from trainer’s deliverance, guest speakers from different sectors will be invited.

Certificate
Certificate will be conferred by HKCSS Institute with over 80% attendance AND a deliverance of a sharing in peer learning session.
