Objective
HKCSS is invited by The Commission on Poverty, HKSAR Government to form a consultancy team to develop and implement this training programme. This consultancy team is composed of scholars of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and The University of Hong Kong and representatives of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.

Characteristics of the Programme
1. Case study approach to analyze various aspects of social enterprise such as governance, management, marketing strategies etc.;
2. A mentorship scheme to bridge in-class training with real-life application of business knowledge;
3. Curriculum developed by drawing reference to similar course of overseas universities with consideration of local characteristics;
4. A cross-disciplinary training curriculum enabling students to learn business skills with a social angle;
5. Guest speakers of SME and SE field sharing practical experiences in running business.
Admission:
Applicant should possess a post-secondary level of qualification and should supply a short paragraph specifying why he / she is interested in the course.
Assessment & Accreditation
A certificate of attendance will be awarded to students who have
1. 80% or above attendance rate;
2. have completed the group presentation project;
3. have completed the mentorship scheme.
