Forum on Good Practices in Building Organization Health and Capacity for NGOs
Introduction
Inspired by the result of the organizational health survey pilot HKCSS and McKinsey & Co. jointly run in 2011/12, HKCSS and HKU ExCEL3 are embarking on a project to develop a compendium of good practices in enhancing organization health and capacity, and to build awareness of organizational health in the NGO sector. Therefore, a survey has been done, in which NGOs were invited to contribute their knowledge to identify organization practices that are contributive to organizational health and sustained performances among NGOs.
Objective
In the forum, we will release the survey result and introduce the framework and its practices with illustrations from agencies. In addition, discussion of contingencies, enablers and barriers for the possible adoption of the framework in the nonprofit setting will also be included.
