Effective Branding for NGOs Series - Session 2: Integrated Marketing Communications Strategies for NGO Branding (FULL)

Introduction

This series aim to develop practical and essential branding skills for NGO managerial staff. It consists of three workshops, each covering different important aspects of branding concepts, strategies and tools. The workshops can be taken in any orders, and no pre-requisite workshop has to be taken before enrolling in any workshops.

Objective

• To gain practical insights on the changing landscape of marketing communications
• To have a bird’s eye view on how marketing, branding and state-of-the-art marketing communication tools work together

Content

• What is Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Planning, and what are the benefits?
• What are advantages and disadvantages of the various tools available for integrated marketing communications planning today, e.g. Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Marketing, Direct Marketing, Sales Promotions, and Advertising, etc.
• How can these tools be applied efficiently and effectively within a comprehensive IMC Strategy?
