Introduction
智障人士的老化情況於康復服務單位日趨普遍，其先天障礙的限制與身體機能退化而衍生的特殊照顧需要，帶來前線同工在照顧工作上的挑戰。本課程旨在讓參加者瞭解智障人士老化的情況，並教授相關照顧技巧，讓服務使用者能獲得更適切的照顧。

東華三院賽馬會復康中心副院長
楊女士先後取得社會工作學士、社會工作文學碩士，從事復康工作逾廿年，現任東華三院賽馬會復康中心副院長，現職主要負責督導及統籌嚴重智障人士日間活動中心暨宿舍服務、督導視障長者院舍服務，以及發展殘疾人士藝術及共融藝術。另關注智障人士老齡化問題，並為監護委員會委員。

Project Officer of Embracing the Setting Sun Project

Ms Choi is a registered social worker with undergraduate degree in Applied Social Science and Master’s degree in Social Work. She is a Certified Practitioner of Art in Therapy and Art in Psychotherapy. As a Project Officer of Embracing the Setting Sun Project in TWGHs, she works with people with disabilities in end-of-life stage and their families, provides palliative care services. She adopts art as intervention medium, provides life & death education and psychosocial support. She also delivers trainings for professional care staff and volunteers. She participated in researches initiated by HKU on bereavement care for persons with intellectual disabilities and their families.
