Change Leadership: Aligning Your People, Accelerating Your Results

Introduction

Changes have become part of our lives — resources stability, compliance requirements, stakeholder expectations, and team restructuring all demand rapid adaptation. As the vital bridge between organisational strategy and frontline service delivery, many middle managers must ensure that both they and their teams can adapt to or even drive changes. While leading changes is a must-have leadership skill for NGO middle managers nowadays, navigating change brings real struggles: self-doubt, unclear direction, team resistance, burnout, and the frustration of unrealised initiatives. Change management is an evolving process. Effective change leadership offers a way forward, driving service advancement and amplifying social impact through awareness, empathy, and strategic mindset that guide teams effectively through transformation.

This workshop helps middle managers understand how individuals respond to change and develop the mindset needed to lead teams effectively in dynamic environments. Participants will also be able to create and implement a robust change goal that identifies the critical areas for change in their unit, and to determine what they need to do differently as change leaders to manage and balance the human side of transformation to effectively bring about desired changes in mindset, behaviour, and performance.
