【Session 1 - Breaking through Uncertainty: Entrepreneurial Mindsets for a Dynamic Society】
This workshop aims to familiarise individuals with the concepts and principles of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This workshop explores how entrepreneurs sustain development through adapting to changes and innovation, and the role of entrepreneurship in driving social innovation, as well as the challenges and opportunities that arise in the process. Participants will also be able to acquire new perspective from illustration of cases from the corporate sector and be equipped with tools and good practices to develop their social innovation projects. By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired a comprehensive insight into social innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the practical skills necessary to initiate their social innovation project.

A serial entrepreneur in technology startups in Digital Signal Processing application, integrated communication, mobile / e-commerce solutions and e-learning.
Dr. Chan is a frequent speaker at conferences and business seminars, a corporate trainer and executive coach, recipient of the Queen's Gold Medal for mathematics presented by Queen Elizabeth II. Dr. Chan studied engineering at the University of Cambridge, awarded BA, MA and PhD. Author of “My Cambridge Days” and “Dream Journey For Two”.
