Nowadays organisations have to evolve ceaselessly to keep themselves aligned with the needs of the community. Providing new services has become a regular management function in most NGOs so that they can serve the community better. In the process of providing a new service, planning is considered crucial as it is an essential management step to determine the direction, the scope as well as the action.

Dr. WAN , Johnny 溫振昌博士

Dr Wan is currently a management consultant with over 20 years of management experience in academic, public and commercial sectors. He is keen on HR development strategies, business model, strategic mindset, talent management and leadership development. He has worked for The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in the roles of Director of Industry Liaison in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management and Associate Professor in Management, teaching strategic management and HRM courses at both undergraduate and MBA levels. Besides university teaching, Dr Wan has been an executive in an international theme park in Hong Kong and a superintendent (training specialist) in the Hong Kong Police College. Dr Wan is a Certified Management Consultant and a Fellow member in the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management.

Note:
Dr Wan has been involved in experiential learning since 1990s while he was Associate Professor in Management and Director of the Diploma Program in Training Management at CUHK. He has lectured, conducted and authored on experiential learning. He took on various advisory positions for related institutions such as the HK Institute of Adventure Counseling, Breakthrough Organization, HK Police College, and the HK Challenge Course Association.
Mr. TANG Joe 鄧耀祖先生
Senior Social Work Supervisor

Joe graduated from the HKPU, CityUHK, HKU and CGST respectively. He worked as a social worker in the Evangel Children’s Home in 1985. Since 1989, he has been working in Caritas-Hong Kong in the services of home care, school social work, marriage and family, men’s development and substance abuse. In October 2003, he has been transferred to Caritas Addicted Gamblers Counselling Centre as a social work supervisor till now. During his service, he is responsible for supervising his social work colleagues and the placement students, service planning and development, advocacy of gambling policy, training helping professionals as certified gambling counselors, publication of books, conducting researches and media conferences, community education and publicity. In addition, he is the convener of the NoGamble21 Alliance comprised eleven gambling counselling service organisations.
Dr. CHOI Jonathan 蔡暉明博士
Director of Ministry Development and Clinical Psychologist
Youth Global Network
Dr Choi has studied clinical psychology and theology in Fuller Theological Seminary and obtained his PhD degree in clinical psychology in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Choi has extensive clinical experience in adolescents and family therapy. His focus is on youth addiction and trauma recovery. Since 2008 Sichuan earthquake, Dr Choi actively participated in the post-earthquake psychological rehabilitation work in Sichuan. He has dedicated to develop a holistic approach to transform the traumatized youth become servant leaders in Sichuan. Dr Choi is currently focusing on mobilising youth and youth workers from different cultural backgrounds and equipping them to become global citizens. Dr Choi has developed an inclusive community sharing platform for multi-cultural youth in Kam Tin, a suburb village prized for its rich cultural heritage and ethnic diversity. It explores new ways of living through innovative attempts such as social enterprise, heritage preservation, upcycling and community building.
