簡介

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! This participatory project management course focuses on the design and planning of projects in the development sector. It draws on field and HQ experience and good practices from international organisations in numerous countries and contexts in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The course delivers knowledge, practical skills and tools to work successfully with local communities in the development and implementation of projects.
The main tool used during this course is the logical framework approach, which provides a structured model for identifying expected results as well as the activities and inputs needed to accomplish them. The course provides tools to analyse problems and stakeholders, define objectives and determine activities based on stakeholder needs. It also introduces the implementation of a monitoring system.
Participants learn how to best use the various tools with case studies and through group exercises.

目標

At the end of the course, participants know how to plan a project, how to programme its activities and how to design and use its monitoring system following the Result-Based Management approach and using the logical framework as a tool.
