Future-Ready Leaders: Mindset, Skillset, Toolset and Leadership Style】

Objective

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to: 

  • Deepen self-awareness by analysing personal leadership styles, behavioural tendencies, strengths, and growth areas
  • Recognise how personal traits, mindset, and leadership styles shape team interaction, decision-making, and daily operations in NGO settings
  • Learn to align skillset and practical tools with individual leadership styles to develop as future-ready leaders
  • Establish a clear personal leadership identity and craft a leadership vision consistent with NGO missions
  • Exchange reflections and work challenges with peers in a psychologically safe sharing environment
  • Formulate actionable steps to enhance self-leadership for continuous growth

【Connect & Inspire】Session

Running throughout the MMDP programme, the < Connect & Inspire > sessions will offer an open and trusted space for participants to pause, reflect, and learn from one another. Through cross-organisational exchange and experience sharing, these interactive sessions aim to broaden participants’ perspectives, explore potential collaborative opportunities, and spark new ideas for addressing shared challenges.

Dr. Anthony Tak Kin Wong is a distinguished corporate trainer, HR management expert, public speaker and leadership researcher with 27 years of cross-industry senior management experience spanning Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, and the broader Asia Pacific region. He has taken up core HR leadership positions at renowned Fortune Global 500 corporations and leading listed enterprises including Nestlé, Sony, Hutchison Whampoa, SCMP, Dairy Farm, RedMart, Avery Dennison and Johnson Electric, covering media, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing and high-tech industries.

Since 2010, Dr. Wong has developed and delivered practical people management, presentation, communication and soft skills training alongside professional HR consultancy for more than 100 NGOs and social service bodies. He develops public and in-house workshops plus customized HR consultancy services for NGO management, frontline supervisors and professional practitioners, with core focuses on leadership development, talent management, performance management, stakeholder engagement, crisis resolution and organizational strategy tailored to non-profits’ unique mission-driven operational culture.

Beyond training facilitation, Dr. Wong serves as a lecturer and researcher specializing in leadership styles, human resources management and workplace disability inclusion. He works as Researcher at SBS Swiss Business School and Assistant Editor of the SBS Journal of Applied Business Research, while holding prestigious advisory board and committee vice-chair and member roles across prominent non-profit organizations.

Academically, he holds a BBA from HKUST, a master’s degree from HKU and a Doctor of Business Administration from SBS Swiss Business School. He is a DDI-certified facilitator in performance management and targeted selection interviewing, as well as a Franklin Covey certified presentation trainer.
