Objective

Its function has been extended to a horizon that people management is a "must” for every staff member holding a supervisory/managerial position. He obtained his PhD in Psychology at University of Illinois. Since then, he has been teaching both undergraduate and master level courses in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Social Psychology for the past 10 years. His research interests include the application of psychology to workplace behaviors, cooperation and competition. He has also been providing consultancy services to both public and private organizations in the areas of recruitment selection assessment, equal opportunities, staff motivation and customer satisfaction.
Dr. Ho , Florence 何巧清博士
Assistant Programme Director, Senior Lecturer

Dr Ho has extensive experience as a human resource management practitioner. Prior to joining SPEED, she worked in both public and private sectors. Florence also worked with the Social Welfare Department as a social worker, and in addition she has also served in various NGOs as a volunteer.

Ms. Wong Rita Agnes 黃文靜女士

Ms Wong has 20 years of solid experience in HR. She started her career as an HR practitioner in HSBC, and has worked at renowned organizations such as University of Hong Kong, Hospital Authority, Dairy Farm and Pfizer. In the past ten years, she focused on customer service training, management development, professional training and organization development. She creatively integrates the wisdom of counseling into her training, with specialized in experiential and personal effectiveness training. When working with groups and individuals, she became a conduit creating a space that encourages transformation on their part. Rita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Buddhist Studies.
Dr. KWONG , Michael 鄺俊偉博士

Dr Michael Kwong holds degree from the University of Nottingham (U.K.) and Newport University (U.S.). He has worked in various leading media corporations including Asia Television, The Express News (Deputy Sales Director) and the New Evening Post (General Manager, Advertising Dept.) with over fifteen years’ successful experience in the sales and marketing field.

Dr Kwong has been a business consultant and a part-time lecturer for a few institutions including HKMA, CUHK SCS, CityU SCOPE, PolyU (CBC, HKCC & SPEED), etc. He is especially strong to deliver training with topics in: win-win negotiation, supervisory skills, Leadership with Chinese Wisdom, EQ and AQ, customer service excellence, customer relationship management, professional selling skills, marketing strategy, creative thinking, team building and communication.

Ms Tsang is the Director of Heep Hong Society, which is one of the leading NGOs providing early intervention and support services for children with special needs and their families. Graduated from the University of Southwestern Medical Center at Texas, USA, major in Rehabilitation Science, Nancy has extensive experience in serving on various committees of the Social Welfare Department, Education Bureau, Hospital Authority, ICAC as well as the HKCSS. The Society pioneered a self financing initiative in 2000 which gives parents a choice other than public and private services.

1."Certificate in Human Resource Management for NGOs” will be issued by the HKCSS Institute to participants who enrolled for the full certificate course, including sessions 1 to 5, and with attendance at least 24 hours out of 30 hours.
